Candied Bosc Pears

Such beautiful Bosc Pears and they would be wonderful just as is.  But,
I tried to fancy them up a bit.

This would make a great project for parents and kids............lot's of licking your fingers though!
Pears have wonderful nutrition too.
Dark Dairy Free Chocolate w/ nonpareills
Dark Non Dairy Chocolate
White chocolate w/ salted sunflower seeds
Butterscotch w / peanut butter Cheerios, YUM!!!
This one turned out to be the least 'pretty' but tasted the best, awesome!

Make a base of chocolate to push the dipped pear down onto.  Prop up the pear until the chocolate hardens if it's not flat bottomed.  Speed up the cooling in the fridge but not the freezer so you don't destroy the natural juices of the fruit.

If you'd like more information on pear preserving, check out this post for canning pears.

I've giving these canned pears from this older post so many times as gifts and it's always the one I hear back about.  Really good for preserving.  These candied pears above though are good for right now eating!

Enjoy!
